    What is my experience?

I am a consultant clinical psychologist, clinical supervisor and trainer with over 25 years of experience working with
adults and children with intellectual disabilities (learning disabilities)
and/or autism and ADHD. Listening to and learning from people’s lived
experience, putting them at the centre of my practice is of most importance to
me, working in partnership with people to support them to live the life they
    value.

I have worked for many years in NHS community learning disability and outpatient settings for
children and adults with learning disabilities, leading on service developments
around family partnership, mental health and parents with learning
disabilities. In recent years I have provided adult autism and/or ADHD
assessments through university wellbeing and NHS practitioner health services. I
am experienced in court appointed expert witness specialist assessments of
    capacity, cognitive ability, and neurodiversity.

For the past 20 years I have also been in a senior clinical tutor role and learning disability module lead training
clinical psychologists and regional supervisors on the Sheffield University
    Doctorate of Clinical Psychology programme.
